Version 3.8 of WordPress, named “Parker” in honor of Charlie Parker, bebop innovator, has now been released into the wild. This is a significant update as it is the first time in a while that the admin dashboard has seen a radical update along with the widget area. In the coming weeks we will be updating all client websites to this new 3.8 version so you need not worry about the update at all. Because the update is visually different in the admin dashboard area we encourage all users to again open up the “Video Tutorials” on the dashboard menu to once more gain an insight into using WordPress the correct way.
